OIL PAINTING  FOR BEGINNERS

Saturday 17th April
10:30 -3:00pm

You will complete a series of working paintings to get a feel for the medium, understand various painting techniques, colour mixing and depth of field. 

Please note this workshop is very much aimed at beginners with no previous experience but anyone is welcome to turn up and have a play!

COFFEE SCHOOL

Friday23rd April
6:00 -8:00pm

This workshop is pitched at beginners and is run by our head barista Ged. Whether you want to understand a little more about how coffee is made or how to get the most out of your machine at home, we will take you through the basics. 

Within the 2 hour workshop you will understand how to grind coffee, make key drinks on the menu, steam and foam milk as well as having a go at trying to master latte art.

JEWELLERY MAKING
SILVER PENDANT

Saturday 24th  April
10:30 -1:30pm

Design and make a fabulous silver pendant. First you will learn basic jewellery making techniques such as using the piercing saw, filing, shaping, forging, soldering, and texturing…phew!! before creating your very own necklace. 

All materials are provided and no experience needed. Sarah also welcomes those who have taken previous jewellery making workshops.

Saturday 24th April 
2:30 -5:30pm

Learn basic jewellery making techniques such as using the piercing saw, filing, shaping, forging, soldering, and texturing. You will then use these techniques to make a beautiful pair of drop earrings. 

Please note this course is also suitable for those returning to practice skills learnt by making a different product. Everything provided just turn up and get started.

Covid 19 - Measures

These are the following system of controls we are obliged to follow;

ENHANCED CLEANING
Classroom sanitised / deep cleaned before each activity.  

HAND WASHING
Hands to be sanitised before entry into the classroom. If leaving the classroom for the toilet, getting a drink from downstairs etc hands must be sanitised on your return. 

MASKS TO BE WORN
- Although in most cases students will be 2m apart, for the protection of everyone masks will be worn throughout. 

SPACE
Students will be a min of 1 metre apart 

LIMITED SHARING OF MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT
Outlined at the start of the session 

WINDOWS LEFT OPEN FOR VENTILATION
Wrap up warm! 

TRACK & TRACE
Everyone required to fill in enrolment form at the start of the session. 

ATTENDANCE
Do not attend if you have symptoms or someone in your house does.

Tickets are non refundable. 

Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold for commercial gain. 

If you cannot make the class for any reason we will try and resell it on your behalf upto 48hrs before the event. 

In the event of Bowery cancelling the event a full refund will be provided.
